Natural Pigments
When you order your American Clay plaster, you may also choose one of 43 nature inspired colors. American Clay's natural, dry powder pigments are mixed with the clay at the time of application. The natural oxides and ochers used in American Clay's pigments ensure your finish will be naturally resistant to UV rays and will not experience the kind of fading normally associated with other finishes. Actual samples of each color are available at our store.
A note about your color and finish combination: each clay product (Loma, Porcelina, Marittimo, or Enjarre) has a slightly different look and texture, and the nuances of your final color will reflect this. For a visual aid in understanding the possible variations, please visit our individual clay product pages for representations of each color/finish combination.
Don't see a color to suit your needs? American Clay offers custom Color Packs to match any sample you have. A $75 charge per color applies and includes up to two samples of each color you want matched. Color matches will be shipped to you within three weeks from the date of receipt. Test the matching samples against your color, approve your choice of the match by signing the sample and returning it to us for production. Custom color production requires a minimum order of three Color Packs.
